Back to school shopping....

It's that time of year again...parents are rushing around trying to catch sales on clothes and make sure their kids have everything for school.

I for one, love school clothes shopping, especially for my girls. I love picking out outfits, and watching them,  especially Jessa get all excited with finding outfits that she mixes and matches.

The only thing I absolutely HATE about clothes shopping is the cost.
Like with my 14 year old..most two piece outfits end up costing at the least 40.00. This year I was lucky, and only paid about 19.00 for each outfit (one pair of jeans and a top ) by shopping online at Old Navy.

This is why, every year, when it comes to shopping for school clothes or wardrobes for season changes, for the younger kids, I ABSOLUTELY love and swear by The Childrens Place. This year I went shopping there for Jessa's school clothes and ended up spending only 1/4th of what I had planned on spending. She got 6 new shirts, 2 pairs of jean like shorts, 2 skorts and 5 pairs of pants for 65.00. Then of course sneakers, which for her 1st pair, maamma (what Jessa calls my mom) and pappa bought for her along with socks and tights.  So each article of clothing was 4.00 dollars and change!!! I love The Childrens Place.

What are some awesome deals you got this year for back to school shopping?

What's your flavor...

Hi, my name is Mandi, and I have an addiction..(okay, well several really) But my latest addiction is flavored coffee creamers. Coffee Mate French Vanilla, International Delights York Peppermint patty, and International Delights Almond Joy.
I am a person who loves her coffee. I have to have it in the morning, even before anyone tries communicating with me, before I start work or anything. If I don't have atleast one cup, I CAN NOT by any means function properly. Now, with that being said...I absolutely hate the way sugar and milk tastes in my coffee. For the longest time I would drink Half & Half and Splenda in my coffee. It seems to be that artificial sweeteners are alot of what was triggering my Trigeminal neuralgia pain though. As soon as I cut artificial sweeteners out, the pain was gone with in a few days, and  I rarely get an episode now.  One day hubby, knowing how much I like french vanilla, brought home Coffee Mate's French Vanilla coffee creamer. Well I was instantly hooked! 3 tablespoons of that inside a black cup of coffee, no other sweeteners added and I am in heaven!!
Now, the other day I went grocery shopping, and I went to grab my Coffee Mate French Vanilla and I see International Delight has York Peppermint patty and Almond joy! Now, those are two of my favorite candies. But I don't eat candy but once in a blue moon, so I thought eh, what the heck..I may as well, this way when I get sweet tooth, I can do it with coffee creamer. Well, let me tell you I came home and tried the ID York Peppermint Patty and hubby tried the Almond Joy so I had a sip of each..OH MY GOD..can we say MOUTH GASM..say it with me MOUTHGASM!!  LOL
These 3 coffee creamers are my new "haven", my escape and my daily splurge!! I can not do with out these flavors in my coffee now.

Bic Soleil Savvy Review!!

I received this razor as one of the BzzAgent campaigns that I was selected for. I can honestly say I was excited to try this razor out.  ( I know.. who gets excited to try a razor right?? Well, I do!!LOL)

When I first got it in the mail, I took it right out of the package and immediately noticed how great it fit in my hand. The shape of the handle makes it very easy to grip.

The razor cartridges are very easy to load and unload and the design of the razor makes it so you never have to touch the actual razor which I find a huge plus considering I am the one that would always cut a finger when putting the blade on.

Now.. lets get down to the shaving... Can I just say I LOVE shaving with the Bic Soleil Savvy!! I applied very little pressure and then pushed down a little harder.  I got the same results from both, silky smooth legs!!  I didn't have to shave a spot with more then one stroke.. It's great!!

The only downside to the Bic Soleil Savvy is that after 2  to 3 shaves I had to replace the blade.
How ever, with all the other pluses to this razor, I would not mind buying extra blades to have on hand!! All in all, the Bic Soleil Savvy is an awesome razor and I definitely recommend it!!
